HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

From another CS member on my way back home from Siem Reap. We talked in the bus. He shared with me that his host was super kind. She not only let him and his friends (university students) stay, but also cooked for them then took them to the airport. I thought he meant the hotel owner so asked "How much did you pay in total?". The answer is "No charge - CS is all about sharing your house and your experiences with others." Since then, I knew about CS, and CS has in deed changed my life. Now I can explore more about the world. I have been able to move beyond South East Asia to visit more countries in different continents. Just by opening your house and your heart to welcome people, the world is yours. CS is awesome! Thank You CS team!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had many good moments with the people I spent time with. Generally speaking, my CS experiences are positive and full of fun. Hopefully these will be life lasting.

Walking, hiking, camping, cultures... all about traveling and the world around you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was hiking in Crescent meadow in Yosemite national park, I heard the noise like someone was splitting the tree barks. Watching around quietly for some seconds, I recognized a wild brown bear standing next to a tree trying to find honey. Backing up was a smart choice but now I wish I could have stayed longer to watch him wander in the park.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the languages I know. My Chinese Mandarin is at the intermediate level, if you are a beginner, I can share with you some special tools so that you can be more confident with the language.
