About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to find, experience and share the little, sparkling gems of travelling; especially ones that support sustainable and alternative modes of operating

ABOUT ME

I am pretty devoted to travelling at this point in my life. I have a beautiful 19 year old daughter and have spent most of my life involved in the food business in one way of another. I am an English major and I enjoy all the liberal pursuits: reading, writing, art, cooking, gardening, hiking, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life as beautifully as you can; continue to nourish mind, body and soul

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

I hope to find persons or groups who live in sustainable, organic foods and farming, lifestyle practices while abroad. I hope to explore more areas of nature, hiking, great food, places of art, music and culture. Very interested in meeting people with open and warm dispositions and hope to find my own inspiration and beauty in my travels. Im enjoying the life and pace of Thailand and continue to be surprised by each corner.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Movies! but what pops to mind; Princess Mononoke, Chung King Express and Amelie; quirky and magical~ Currently reading Murakami and the Bone People by Keri Hulme...music seems to fall between 'electronic, world, freak folk, alternative.'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Magical moments when life slows down are all pearls...the centerpiece is of course giving birth to my daughter, Ayeen...wow

Teach, Learn, Share

This is a great philosophy! I love to create anything delicious, beautiful and look for meaningful adventures...because life is about experience and learning...filling our cup! Whether its cooking together, making art, writing a paper, sharing in cultural events, hiking a mountain, trying to learn a new language or going birding-Im in!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Shared house...great location!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Ireland, Mexico, Spain, Thailand
