ABOUT ME
I am a jeans wearing, photograph composing, book reading, mischief making, t-shirt appreciating, muzak listening, people watching, cloud gazing 20-something who sizes up couches even in my own living room.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted many vagabonds during my years, company is always more interesting and thought provoking than lonelyness. I'd like to hope that many CSers have enjoyed some good conversations and seen the world through a different set of eyes for a brief moment. I Participate because I travel the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far most of couch-surfing history has been impromptu and fate fueled rather than through the CS site. Some of these people can now be found here! - years later. I have however stayed with CSers in London, San Francisco and Seattle over the years as well as meeting up with people for drinks or parties in various cities across the world. Experiences have been amongst the best I can remember, always having left 'the surf' feeling like I should never stay in a hostel over this ever again. The local knowledge and insights you get being welcomed into someones daily life are unforgettable.

Interests
Walking till I cant walk anymore in a new city must rank high up on the interest chart. In fact walking is the katalyst for all other sub-interests to be fed. Walking to create, walking to explore, walking to eat - sometimes even walking somewhere just to then go for a walk. My interests however are definitely artistically slanted and a lot of anti-authoritarian mischief making in the name of fun and freedom. Tunnel-runner, book-reader, bakedgood-eater, mushroom-seeker, photograph-teacher, homemade tattoo inker.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies would be a steady mix of classics and cults and forgettable one-night comedies.
Music taste is everchanging and diversifying to incorporate more and more genres. The only thing I know, is that it all began with a cheap walkman and two tapes - The Blues Brothers and Waynes World Soundtracks - sometime when I was much shorter.
Some Words - A Scanner Darkly, Brave New World, A Brief History of Time, Junky, Hi-Fidelity, The Beach, 1984, Down and Out in Paris and London, Heavier Than Heaven, Fight Club, Secret History of the World. Books are the only material possession I truly treasure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitch-hiking in BC is an 'amazing thing' that comes to mind. Both the interior and the island graced interesting and unique rides on its picturesque highways. For the majority, the people I rode with left me with a smile and a contentness that surpassed any tourist attraction or delicious cake.
