About Me

Hi, my name is Anne. I'm looking for people who can share home in an unknown city and advise local sights! I am easy-going person, I like adventures and travelling. I like making new acquaintances with interesting people. I like fun, but sometimes want a quiet contemplation. Life is multifaceted and I take it all and soak up all its manifestations!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like couchsurfing because of its democracy and Budget. Thus, it is an easy way to make acquaintance with people from other countries, to exchange cultural experiences.
Living in a hotel is very expensive and not comfortable, and at home and even with a resident – is a pleasure for me. I don’t abuse the hospitality, because I travel mainly for impressions!

Interests

I love art, especially good movies, books, music, theater. My dream is to travel to Scandinavia, as for me - this is the place where they play a great metal! I love animals and would like to open a shelter, but it's still a dream.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love drama and festival films which make brains to work. Rarely I watch comedy. My favorite movies are "Dogville" by Lars von Trier's, "The Piano Teacher" M.Haneke, "Empty House" Kim Ki-Duk. Among the directors of the post-Soviet I like Tarkovsky. His genius is undeniable.
What about music – I prefer doom metal, black, progressive, rock and roll, heavy metal. My favorite groups are - Sólstafir, Anathema, Lake of Tears, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, The Rolling Stones.
I like complicated books, classical literature or something existential, for example - "Stranger" by Albert Camus.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had to give shelter cats and find them new owners for them. The best part is when you treat an animal to care for him, and then it recovers. The greatest miracle is compassion. Once a pigeon lived with me, I treated him too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook national dishes; I can give the Belarusian national songs and teach the national anthem.
