Since I was a child I loved being on the road. I always felt a great fascination for the world and the people surrounding me and am constantly looking for different perspectives. So I'm happy about every chance I get to meet new people, to share traveling stories, laughter, experiences, a cup of tea... and am always doing my best to face everything different from what I know with unconditional respect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing's such an amazing platform! Obviously this way of traveling, strangers helping out strangers, sharing food, home and stories with fellow travelers etc. existed long before couchsurfing came to life, but the website definitely is a great and handy way to connect with others. I really do hope that CS and it's community will manage to survive and grow as a countermovement to a very capitalist economy that values money higher than kindness.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
lots of movies from Christopher Nolan, Groundhog Day, Amélie, Lord of the Rings, Gravity, Her, Studio Ghibli Movies, all sorts of documentaries and series.

Books:
I love reading and am genuinely interested in almost every topic, no matter if factual books, science fiction, fantasy, novels or poetry. Reading a good book is a journey on it's own and enables you to carry along a piece of home, so I'm always traveling with at least one book in my backpack

Music:
I'm pretty open minded and will probably like everything you can show me. Seeing people dancing and singing along to music always makes me happy :)
