About Me
Hi there!
I started couchsurfing in New Zealand because I wanted to meet the people of the country - and it's a bit more in depth than the contact you get when hitchhiking. Now I’ll be staying in Spain for a while.
After getting my Bachelor’s degree (Plant Sciences) and trying to get away as far from home as possible (which worked out real good going to NZ), I went back home and worked in a bakery for a while. Now, I’ve started a Master’s program - family pressure is great, huh? - but it’s time for another break :)
At home I’m usually busy with meeting friends, fixing stuff around the house and the occasional studying. I like to cook, and buying my kitchen machine was certainly one of the things that made me happy last year. I’m eager to try any new foods (though I must admit I'm a bit scared of anything with more than four legs).
Not really a fan of the hobby listing thing, so if you'd like to know more just send me a message :)
Cheers!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling through New Zealand I found how much couchsurfing can offer, in terms of accommodation but much more in terms of cultural exchange.
Interests
People, all aspects of food, plants: how nature works. (Now that I think about it, that's about everything there is)
- food
- nature
- people
- plants
Music, Movies, and Books
Any music that has a recognisable melody, art house movies (don't have a tv and loving it), and for books: classics (any Penguin book). Have been trying to get through the evergrowing pile of books on my nightstand since forever.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Setting up Wageningen Student Farm with four fellow students. Starts are hard but it's flourishing now. Feel free to visit the garden when you’re around :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
