Overview
About Me
Born and raised in IL. Lived in Colorado, New York, and Indiana. Living in Chicago. Hope to live in the West in the near future.
I can say that I have a creative imagination, oh and pretty crafty too. I have designed and made my own jewelry. I can also knit hats and scarves. Once upon a time, I have sewn clothes for Barbie to wear instead of the store bought ones.
I usually catcall babies and animals in public. I don’t care about their adults.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Want to travel more non-stop.
I don't want to worry about lodging costs anymore as a single factor to step down from a trip.
Recently have experienced solo road trips from coast to coast (not all at once).
Making new friends with similar interests and passions would be an absolute plus.
Interests
Nature, Outdoors, Historic Sites, Hiking, Mountains, Beach, Museums, Zoos, Libraries, Bookstores, Antiquing and more.
True to my geographical roots, I have a huge sports fan and a serious member of the sports community in Chicago (vocally).
I will forever always be an active learner seeking all educational opportunities.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to list...but you can check out my Goodreads profile if you ask.
I spend my time reading lots of books now. Digital and print, yes that also includes very old smelly books as well. For non-fiction: I read biographies, politics, memoirs, and all history.
Grew up with classical music and forever it will be a part of me. Play the piano, flute, and guitar. Love to sing and write music.
I don't enjoy going to go see the movies anymore. I'm always going to be interested in watching independent and old school horror flicks I can find for free online.
The themes I enjoy for now on whether in music, movie, or literature: supernatural/paranormal, action/adventure, post-apocalyptic/dystopian, mystery/thriller and historical
