I really don't fit in to a box... I think myself as a kind, caring and loyal, fun personality. I'm close to my family and have lots of love to other people. Keeping things cool and downshifting have changed my life for better. Now I have more time and ability to listen and live in the moment. Those are things I find very valuable in this busy world. I'm curious and ready to learn something new every day! I love sports, arts and having conversations. I like a lot of things. I'm a terrible cook but I make awesome cakes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet new people from different cultures. Ever since my exchange student year I spent in the United States I have urged to meet different people... And I have, luckily. I prefer to see the good in people, and that is why I'm offering my home for someone to rest in for a while. Share experiences and thoughts.

And that's what I'm hoping I would get some day, when I'm able to travel myself. A place where to stay for a while, with some real people. That's what it's basically all about - getting in contact. Social media is a great tool but a poor master. That's how I think about it. We should all meet up a little bit more in the real world.

Once you know me, you know my family! And they are just great. So I can offer not just one new person into your life but a whole bunch.

Interests

I think the most valuable ones are things we do everyday, or have done in our hearts... One amazing thing I have done is that I have loved and forgived.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My beautiful home. The food I have in the fridge. Thoughts, experiences, different abilities... nature. I only have one PS3 controller though. You can try my pole, and maybe we can burn some candles. I like to walk (as much as I can), and I also drive a car. So I can introduce my neighborhood but also further if interested. Like the capital of Finland, which is only 45 minutes away (app. 55km) by a car or a train (one way ticket 10 euros). I know the high status places and events, but also the inexpensive or even free ones. I'm a lot of fun and I don't take life too seriously.
