Overview
About Me
Currently, I am living in Leipzig, which I - due to the amazing people I met and all the inspiring places I discovered so far -love to call my new home. Within the last year, I engaged in various projects like taking QiGong lessons, joining a non-violent communication training, and doing some volunteer work with children and teenagers. Besides, I never miss an opportunity to discover my environment by inline skating, longboarding, or taking long walks (sadly without my dog who declines to leave my parents :D). I have a strong urge to be in nature as much as I can and rarely spend a day without breathing some fresh air outside the city (depending on the distances though, but I have been lucky to always have had enough trees around me).
I am an open-minded and warm person, who loves to listen and talk! This is also how I earned the title 'mother elephant', as engaging in meaningful relationships and bringing people together is what matters to me the most. I have a great interest in meeting new people and getting to know different lifestyles and cultures, which leads me to the fact that I am a passionate Psychology student. I studied in the Netherlands and will go back there from September on to follow a clinical master's degree.
But before diving into the academic world again, this summer, the seed of traveling by myself again grew bigger within the last weeks. So I decided to eventually jump outside my comfort zone and into a new adventure. "Planlos geht der Plan los" (The plan goes off without the plan") will be my motto and I am excited to see what stories I'll come back with :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Through Couchsurfing I actually gained more than just the knowledge that there are so many super cool people out in this world which are waiting to be met... I did also find my first apartment away from home via a couchsurfer which could not have been any more spontaneous and lucky. Also, I am very happy to say that there are still some people I met through couchsurfing which I now call good friends.
So I'd say I just want to give back to people what others gave to me by simply being open-minded and ready for new adventures.

What I Can Share with Hosts
When spending some time with me you can always expect warm conversations, lots of laughter and motivation to turn ideas into actions. Let it be a dinner, a spontaneous hammock camping action in Mother Nature, or a random creative drawing session. I am generally down for any kind of sports or activity, let it be hiking, skating,... or something new you can teach me! I also love to cook, exchange recipes and spoil people with pancake breakfasts on sundays.
Or do you have a Guitar or love to sing? Then I will always say yes to a jam session or a small singing circle.
