Hey there!

My name is Hanna and I'm a theatre research student from Tartu, Estonia. I am fascinated with people, their minds and the world in general. Everything that is somehow related to culture offers great interest to me. I see myself as an open-minded and curious person.
I am always eager to try new activities, vegetarian food, learn some new skills.

Travelling is one of my greatest passions and I hope that in the future I can use Couchsurfing to see more than just the usual tourist spots. Every corner of the world can be beautiful if one knows where to look.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that Couchsurfing is a great way to see new places through the eyes of a local and therefore explore more. I see Couchsurfing as a way to build connections with people who I would never meet otherwise. As a student, the chance to save money is also important but this is just a bonus.

As for being a host, I would love to show you around my beautiful hometown Tartu. It is the main student town of Estonia and there are always things to do here.

Music, Movies, and Books

Always interested in hearing recommendations! I tend to enjoy music and movies that steer away from the mainstream, and I believe there is always lots of amazing stuff to discover. I go to the theatre more often than I watch movies or read, though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved out at the age of 16 to study in a high school in a town 100 km away. It is both the hardest thing that I have ever done and also the thing that has shaped me the most.

I can teach stuff about Estonia and Estonian language. I am happy to help with cooking and share my life experiences.
