I think Couchserfing is a great way to meet new people, and a big plus is that you can read person's profile and quite understand if there are any common interests.
I've been never couched for now but I hope I will find hosts for my trip I am planning in April'2017!

Music: aww, love music with all my heart, and also love singing! Favourite bands and performers: Arctic monkeys, Radiohead, Alt-J, The Black keys, Twenty one pilots, Of monster and men, The Beatles, Amy Winehouse, The Heavy, The XX, Nirvana, The Doors, Pornophonique, Sonic Boom Six, Against me!, some russian bands like Психея, 5'nizza, Sunsay, СБПЧ оркестр... There's much more!

Movies&series: Fight club (favourite movie ever), all of Tarantino, Guy Richie, Inception, Knockin' on Heaven's Door..it's all like classic. How I met your mother, The big bang theory, Breaking bad.
Books: The Count of Monte Cristo. A. Dumas is one of my favourite. Also I like Banks, Palanik, J.K.Rowling with famous Harry Potter(I'am not like a huge fan, but I've read all books with interest), Aldous Huxley...
