I am studying Arts and Film in Groningen. Besides that I love travelling! After highschool I travelled for eight months in Latin America, mostly in Colombia though, because I fell in love with the place. I am very open-minded, interested in different cultures and almost always up for doing something fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing, because I think it is a great opportunity to really get to know a place and the people living there. Especially when you are travelling alone, it is a great way to get to know people and it is a better alternative than hostels, because there you only meet other travellers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lets start with my favourite music: Being a true German, I like Techno and House music, especially when I am going out. My favourites are probably Nina Kraviz, Ben Klock, Nicola Cruz and David August, although its very hard to say. I also like a lot of other music, but i cannot restrict myself to one specific genre. Some of my favourite artists are Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Rodriguez, Milky Chance, Manu Chao, Amy Winehouse and Oscar and the Wolf among others.
I dont think I have a favourite movie. Of course I really like the Harry Potter movies, and my favourite movie this year was probably Call me by your name. I like the director Jim Jarmusch. Also I am a huge fan of Friends!
I also have no favourite book, although I really enjoy reading. A book I really enjoyed reading was Shantaram, also I like the books by Paulo Coelho. The books I have read the most are probably the Harry Potter books (again..) and I liked the Hunger Games triology very much as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is hard to pick, but one amazing thing I did was hiking up a volcano in Panama with my best friend during the night, just to see both the Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean at the same time at sunrise. One of the hardest thing I did, but worth it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share with you all the world knowledge I could collect until now, even though its probably not much :) I would love to learn some guitar skills, as I am currently trying to learn how to play.
