I love to explore countries in many different ways, from long-distance walking / hiking, to cycling, to hitch-hiking, backpacking, by boat, by van, by train... whatever life throws at me. I used my student years to travel as much as I could and am now trying to combine work and travel by working from other places than Germany for some months of the year. So usually I take myself to Africa for the winter, and the rest of the year I get to spend in my beloved city of Berlin. Exploring new countries and people is one of my biggest joys in life.

I get joy and excitement out of many things. I love to not take life too seriously and I think a good amount of humour makes life so much easier. Appreciating the little things in life as well :)

One of my biggest passions is to drive the renewable energy revolution further.
After having worked for 4 years as a consultant for big companies in Germany, I will take my learnings to do my share in reducing energy poverty. So I'll take a sabbatical from January to work on a solar- and waterproject in Kenia, which I set up with an incredible woman I met earlier this year via couchsurfing (I was couchsurfing at her daughter and ended up traveling Kenia with her mum). We will take her expertise in charity work and mine in renewable energy and light up a village in the desert that we traveled this year.

However, before my new chapter in Kenia I will visit the United States to attend Burning Man. Afterwards I will have a stropover in New York for a week, since i was always intrigued by that city. So i'd love to discover New York through Couchsurfing, to straight away dive into the real New York :)

Unfortunately I cannot host at the moment due to my shared flat with limited space. As soon as i‘ll have my own place my doors will be open!! :) But let's hang out =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- cycling around the world for a year for the NGO World Bicycle Relief
- hiking from the Atlantic Coast to the Mediterranean Sea through the Pyrenees Mountains
- Hitch-Hiking 2 months through Europe ( Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain and Portugal ).
- Jumping of the highes bungee bridge of the world in South Africa
- ..... having the luck to have seen many countries in the world already :)
