Overview
About Me
Originally from Northern Germany, I've been living in Kathmandu for the past 5 years. Ever since I came here I was involved in different things, such as teaching German to young Nepalis and last year, after (maybe too) many gap years I finally started my undergrad studies in Environmental Science.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A traveller myself, I think CS is simply a great way to connect to like-minded folks.
Interests
Love to cycle and hike around the Ktm valley. Recently started with wall climbing. At times singing in an acoustic band project. Apart from that - travelling, reading, cooking, gardening, learning more about ways of sustainable living, photography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Coming from the super flat North of Germany, going on treks in the Himalayas still is an absolutely mind-blowing experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
By now I've discovered a decent number of great local places around town with food and cheap home-made drinks that you would hardly find in the rather touristy restaurants - and I am willing to share that knowledge :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some Nepali receipes, uncomplicated times and stories from the mountains I guess.
