I'm currently an Au Pair in Holland. I graduated University a couple years ago and decided to become an au pair so I could travel Europe while also taking care of children. Living with a Dutch family for a year allows me to travel while also learning so much about the Dutch culture. I'll go back to San Francisco when i'm finished with my year here, but i have no idea what I will do. I'm passionate about taking care of our environment and I do this by not eating animals, always recycling and composting when necessary, not littering, etc. We only have one planet earth and its resources are not limitless.

I love traveling so much and I think couch surfing offers a unique way to really immerse yourself in a new culture. Seeing a new city is one thing, but living with locals brings a whole new outlook.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Harry Potter is my all-time favorite book series. I really love WWII novels as well as thrillers. I love most music. I really think that the music depends on the setting, so I also love hearing new music especially while traveling. I hate scary movies but i'll watch just about anything else. I don't watch movies very often (i'd rather be reading), but my number 1 favorite movie is The Princess Bride.

One amazing thing i've done is packed up my life and moved across the world to The Netherlands to become an Au Pair.

I can share my American culture, as well as my new Dutch culture. I can also share more practical things such as household chores, dishes, etc.
