Born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I'm kind of a nerd and love to read and watch movies. ALL kinds of movies. I used to be a little more shy, however I've really come out of my shell in the last few years, especially while traveling alone and I love it! I love to hear stories from other people and to have more profound conversations (I absolutely HATE small talk). I tend to be kind of sarcastic and make jokes a lot, and I love when people can dish it back.

I am currently studying in Seville, Spain!! I am in love with this city and this country. Maybe I'll move here some day....... :)

I've always loved traveling and I think staying with and getting to know locals is such a different and more rewarding experience than simply saying in hostels or hotels. You get to see the city through a different perspective and experience it with someone who clearly loves their city!

I traveled to the Dominican Republic with an organization called International Service Learning and helped set up a clinic in an underserved community and provide healthcare to those who didn't have access. It was the most rewarding experience of my life thus far!!
