My boyfriend, Nick and I Are travelling in our self built camper van around Europe. We quit our jobs in May and got to work on the van (I worked in an office and a bar in Preston, UK and Nick worked as a motion graphics designer in Manchester, UK) you can find more information on the blog about the conversion: bananowne.wordpress.com :)

We are open minded people would love to see some artwork or music in new places - we've really enjoyed Berlin and it's graffiti and pop up galleries.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

We're looking for free parking spaces in cities as we travel or if you could offer us a driveway to park for a day or two that would be ace! At present the van lacks shower facilities - so a wash wouldn't go a miss :) And of course to meet new people and make new friends - we are missing some of the social life that staying in hostels brings.

Interessen

Nick is interested in Photography (our van doubles as a travelling darkroom sometimes) and traffic art. I enjoy art drawing, painting, sculpture and make little bits as we go.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

We are open minded about music. Into rock, metal, prog, dub, D&B, folk - a wide range. Things we've listened to recently in the van: The Decembrists, Arcade Fire, Beck, David Bowie, The Doors, Lou Reed, Placebo, Fleetwood Mac.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

English - if you want to practice that would be cool. I'm also interested in learning German (baring in mind I only started a week ago when we arrived haha :) ) I speak French at a conversational level and to learn more would be great!
