Hi! It´s Hannah from Germany! I´m from the beautiful and colourful city Cologne! How are you?

A little bit about me:
I´d say I´m creative. I have ideas to paint and write all the time and my days get filled with colour because of that. Inbetween and meanwhile I´m singing.
I love the thrill of discovering art that speaks to me...wether it be music, movies, paintings, poems or novels.
I´m the one who´d get in the car and make an unplanned roadtrip, just to feel the wind in my hair. And I´m also the one who stays up all night to have a talk about all and nothing. I´m the one who bakes because it´s relaxing to just follow a recipe and stop thinking and also the one writing a journal to keep track of all the thoughts passing through, that have been rethought from left to right, from right to left and backwards.
I´m a lover of stories. Stories feed me with new knowledge. Wether it´s the story of your day, your family, your country, your ideas, your thoughts...I´m interested. I´m interested in seeing your world.

The best things while traveling have happened to me when getting to know locals, for example on a trip to Berlin I spontaneously had the chance to dance Tango next to the river Spree...it was magical! Let´s have some beautiful days together in your town!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel to get to know people and different lifestyles before starting my studies in literature and philosophy. I´m interested in everything that I don´t know and I´d love to learn by diving right in.
Until now, I´ve been working and living with a community near Bingen, Germany; helping them around the house and garden and discovering their way of life, spent time with an alternative community in Catalonia, stayed at some hostels and met fellow travelers, and had various volunteering experiences. Maybe we could spend the next part of my journey together. :)

After my travels I´m planning to be a host myself. I think this is a wonderful opportunity to have unique experiences and find new friends around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach German, if you are interested. I am very grateful for anybody who would speak English or French with me, so I can use and improve my language skills. My english is very good already, though, so I might be helpful to beginners. :) I have different hobbies and skills that I´m happy to share if you are interested, including singing, sewing, crafting, playing guitar, cooking and baking -home-made bread!!-, drawing etc.. But I´m even more interested in your hobbies and passions!

I´m very much interested in music, art, theatre and literature. If you want to share anything around those topics, I´d love that! We could make music together -I can sing and play a little bit of guitar-, we could go to a concert together or maybe share our favourite books. Maybe you like to write yourself, as I do as well? Also, if you know a lot about the culture and history of your country/city, you´ve found an interested listener! By the way, what are your favourite places in your city? I´m curious!
