I currently put my Graduate studies on pause, moved out of my apartment, and left my job, so that I could backpack Europe with my best friends for 78 days—yes, I’m counting.

I have always connected with people of different cultures and felt kind of distant from American culture or even identity in what that means. So I hope during my 16 country backpacking trip this summer, to pursue with diligence the experience of beauty in each persons individuality and the way in which they were created. (I promise... I’m not as hippy as I probably appear to sound right now)lol
I study Social Work so how people become who they are through their social environment/cultural archetypes really does interest me.

And also, I just don’t want to be trapped in the American bubble and I want to eat some real pizza and have some authentic Irish stew and eat some Fish and Chips!

Couchsurfing seems like the most genuine and authentic way to learn about each new country/city I travel to. Honestly, meeting people and learning about the history of their nation and who they are and everything involved with that, intrigued me much more than going to a museum
