Hello from Australia! My name is Hannah and am so excited to be travelling again.

I love experiencing new cultures and becoming friends with all kinds of people while also seeing some pretty amazing places. Whether it’s having a good conversation around a campfire, learning a new dance or trying a new food I’ve never heard of before, I am open to new experiences and there’s not a lot I won’t try.

I’m in the middle of studying my masters in Emergency and Disaster Management back home, but have taken the some time off to travel through Africa from Cairo to Capetown.

As well as experiencing and learning about new cultures culture I also love food, hiking and being in nature and with animals. It’s been a little while but I’m really keen to get back into Couchsurfing as it is such an amazing way to meet locals and people you perhaps wouldn’t otherwise meet. Always looking for recommendations as I go so if you have any suggestions for my trip please let me know :-)

I’ll never say no good story and maybe I’ll even let you in on the secret behind how we Aussies make friends with all the poisonous critters and ride kangaroos to school. I can help you with speaking English and my cooking skills are alright, although I would love you you to teach me how to cook dishes from your country!
I’m always looking to learn new things so if you’ve got some secret skill or bright ideas don’t hold back
