I was born and raised in Germany, but bilingual, biculutural and dual citizen. I've been in the US for over 6 years now. Getting my teaching credentials in Long Beach next year... but for now I am enjoying life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am moving to Hawaii ( Maui or Kaua'i) in mid February because my partner got a great job there as a merchant seaman. I can't wait to enjoy the nature and get a wonderful job as a waitress, barista, or (what my profession is) at a school teaching. All I need is a chill place, with a room to call my home. I'm looking for a harmonious bunch of people, who also enjoy good food, nature and relaxation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailing 16 knots with my sailboat and the toe rail was completely submerged. Scary shit, but now I consider it pretty cool haha

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm pretty easy to get along with. I enjoy quiet mornings (I never wake up as an energy bunny)... I finally got off of coffee, hardest thing ever. Now it's green tea. I love to read, and you'll find I carry one with me most of the time. BUT, I also love to swim, jog and play games. And I'm a rock climber. Technically can also lead climb, but I like to be on the safe side and do top rope instead.
