Hi, I'm Hannah from England, I'm about to embark on my first backpacking trip to Australia. I heard about couch surfing through a friend and can't wait to meet new people and gain an insider's perspective - I have duel nationality so might be moving :)

I'm a bit gawky/ English - I say sorry and laugh a lot and am not very funny 😆😅 but I'm very open, quite confident and friendly (not very British)
I'm into climbing (I teach it!) and study art - I'd love to meet hosts with similar interests who could show me their local crag or a beautiful spot to go and paint.

I love wild swimming (though is that safe in Oz?) and hiking and would be up for trying anything - particularly if it's adventurous or sporty.

I don't drink but I know how to have fun, I'd love to come with you on a night out, though equally I make up for busy days with lots of sleep.

Back home I go on climbing van trips every weekend and, with my boyfriend Ben, I'm planning to do Europe 2021 - so anything you teach me about how to get involved with local culture will help me then :)

I'll help around the house and cook for you. If you want to try climbing I could teach you how to belay and give you some tips. I won't have any equipment with me, so I can't take you outdoors, but we could go down to the crag and see if anyone let's us have a go?

Hong Kong as a whole was vibrant - a culture shock in a good way. I've been to Australia before and I've never felt more at home. Climbing in Font has to be no 1 this year, though on a different note taking part in fashion show was a transformative experience :)
