About Me

I graduated from Clemson University last May. I currently live in Spain teaching English at a high school here. I love traveling and getting to see and learn about other cultures. I think that learning new languages and cultures is absolutely fascinating and that it opens up one's perspective about the world and about his/herself. After living in Spain, I will be moving back to the states, hoping to continue traveling throughout the United States and taking international trips whenever I can.
I absolutely love nature and the outdoors. Being active and being outside is how I prefer to spend my days, and I really like just about any sport (although I do find golf rather boring to watch). I played soccer (football/futbol) for 7 years and still love the sport. I like to go kick a ball around whenever I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I love to travel, and when I travel I love to meet other people who also like to meet new people, engage with other cultures, and share experiences. I think one of the best parts of travel is meeting new people along the way and sharing stories, moments, and ideas. I like that couch surfing gives the opportunity to meet people actually living in the area and allows you to meet new people along the way when traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most types of music and movies. For music, my favorites are singer/songwriter, alternative-pop, and country music. For movies, I like pretty much any genre other than horror (although my friends have managed to talk me into watching one or two horror films). I like to read, but unfortunately haven't found much time for it since I started university. However, I'm getting back into reading now and working on improving my Spanish by reading a lot of novels in Spanish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have hiked the Patagonia mountains in Argentina, which is one of the most impressive things I've ever seen.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Slovenia, Spain
