Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Leicester and I've lived here my whole life. I currently live with my parents and a refugee is staying with us in our spare room.
I am studying Art and Design Foundation Diploma part-time at De Montfort University in Leicester however I'm not enjoying the course very much and I am considering doing Film Studies or Film Production instead.
I've recently taken up skydiving. It is a lot of fun. I want to travel and skydive. I am a bit of a hippy. I'm left- wing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel the world and skydive everywhere in the world! I'd love to have homely places to stay and meet new people rather than pay for costly hotels and other accommodation. When I travel I would like to visit real people and see real places and be in the heart of the local community rather than in the stereotypical touristy areas.
I want to try new things, eat local cuisine and discover everything the world has to offer! :)
Interests
I did a tandem skydive in January this year (2016) and decided to become a student and learn to skydive properly. I did my ground school training in February and I have recently achieved my A- License.
I care about important things like caring for the environment, supporting Asylum Seekers and Refugees and Human Rights. I support Amnesty International when I can.
I like sitting in the pub with a nice lager or real ale :)
I like social realist and art-house films. Mike Leigh and Ken Loach are my favourite directors.
