I am a tidy, polite, seasoned couch surfer. I live in Asheville NC. I am an artist, have a degree in biology, and love to work outside. I live with my husband, our dog, and our two ponies. We're in a communal situation that currently does not lend itself to taking people in, but we look forward to living in a place where we can invite couch surfers, to repay all the folks who have historically taken us in... In the meantime, let us know if you're coming into Asheville, because we can find you a crash pad, and show you around!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, and I love to find alternative ways to do it, so I can connect with all the amazing people I still have yet to meet! I enjoy helping out too, I couch-surfed in Israel once, and planted a little raised garden in their courtyard during my stay. That's my idea of what it's all about. Learning from each other.

Interests

I am an avid equestrian, have a degree in biology, speak some pretty good German, and play 'cello and the Swedish key fiddle (nyckelharpa). I love to help out with whatever needs doing too. I like gardening, outdoor labor, and tinkering around old car and truck engines. Basically if there's something that needs doing, I want to learn to do it myself!
