I'm a Scottish born lassie, but have lived most of my life on a small island in the middle of the Irish sea called the Isle of Man- there are women there surprisingly! It's a quiet kind of place where you learn to appreciate nature, the countryside and generally entertaining myself, if it's bad weather- which it usually is!

I am someone who loves to go out, see things and people but also like my creature comforts which generally consist of making music, wholesome cooking, meditation, watching cartoons, training circus or reading a book!

I moved to Manchester about 7 years ago looking for a new start, away from the small town mentality and to meet some interesting people-which I did! Its was a great period of my life but I'm ready for the next adventure!

I am finally leaving my house in the UK to do some travelling, so cannot accept guests right now. I'm looking to work and volunteer to learn new skills about sustainable and communal living. Seems like couchsurfing is the right place to find like minded people between placements to show me the sights and get a insiders perspective on different countries.
