Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love getting a local perspective on cultures, it's a completely different experience to staying in tourist accommodation - you can see what life is really like for the people living somewhere.
I also think it's amazing to contribute to someone's home environment and relax, share stories and meals (I mean who wants to eat alone when you could enjoy great food together and discuss memories, passions and fears!)
There's something about meeting people and connecting in a fleeting moment that I find magical. You never know who you will discover or what they have to offer if you just listen...

Interests

Anything outdoors suits me, mostly the mountains and the coasts. Fresh air is good for the soul and the mind.
I've been practicing yoga for 5 years and teaching for 1. It has taught me strength, patience and dedication and new ways of seeing the world around me.
I have 3 guitars and a ukulele - they are my most treasured belongings.
Cats are mysterious and magical and always welcome around me, any animals really.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to teach hosts some yoga so that I can share the gifts it has given to me :)
I love cooking but hate eating alone so I would be glad to cook for us (just not English food because it isn't so good haha).
I will fill the house with music, questions and laughter, and will draw some stuff as a colourful thank you gift :D
