**disclosure! It’s been a while since I last surfed, and I’ve noticed that all my past travels/references have disappeared! I’ve surfed in Ottawa, Montreal, Victoria (on a houseboat!), in Halifax, and in London England)**

Hi! I currently live in Montreal, where I’m a student at Concordia University studying Liberal Arts. When I’m not studying, I’m usually either making performance art, reading, or doing community organizing.

I’ve had amazing experiences through couchsurfer and have connected with many lovely people! It’s so nice to know that mutual trust and care can exist amongst relative strangers.

I’m a pretty autonomous person, but I love making new connections and sharing knowledge - I speak functional French, love to cook (I work in a vegan kitchen and would be more than happy to prepare a meal for someone hosting me!), and have lots of travel stories. I love chatting about literature, philosophy, and swapping experiences. I’m eager to hear about the intricacies of daily life in a new city!

One of my deepest held commitments is to mutual care and self-governance outside of the relational structures of capitalism! Couchsurfing allows for genuine connection outside of the sterility and commodification of Airbnb or hostel travel, and is such a beautiful example of people doing good by each other, just because they want to.
