About Me
ABOUT ME
I've just graduated, and last month moved to a small city near Shanghai, called Nantong, to start a job as an Economics teacher in a middle school. I'm pretty easy going, and keen to explore new places and learn about different cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet new people - learn from them, and share new experiences together. I want to do a lot of travelling to explore China while I'm living here and it would be great to see it from a local perspective. I would also love to be able to offer the same kindness to people travelling through Nantong as I've experienced elsewhere.
Interests
At the moment, I'm spending a lot of my time trying to get to grips with learning Madarin! I (usually) play the double bass, but wasn't able to bring one out all the way to China, so have switched to trying to learn the piano again. I love reading, and generic fun things like tv shows and the like. And coffee and chocolate.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Like I said, I'm pretty easy going, and will happily fit in with what you're doing - whether that's a cosy evening in, heading out to a bar, or if you need your own space. I'm pretty enthusiastic about exploring new places, so would love to hear any tips you have. I can now offer the ability to cook xiaolongbao, and as I have more cooking lessons in China hopefully some more Chinese treats too!
