Hey hey! I'm Hannah and I'm still figuring out what I wanna do with my life. My passions include travelling/backpacking, learning new languages, dancing, music, dry humour, being hilarious and connecting with new people.
I'm currently working in the retail industry but I would love to one day become an English as a second language teacher, a flight attendant, or something that involves running away from home as much as possible! I identify strongly with my Aussie identity but I also love my identity as a "lady of the world" who never wants to settle down in one place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

in 2020 I'll be travelling non-stop from February until December! Going on a trip this long is a dream come true for me. I'll be mainly using workaway and couchsurfing so I can participate in cultural exchanges and make some fantastic new friends! To say that I'm excited would be an understatement :D

Interests

My current favourite things are my bright coloured button up shirts I got from charity shops, my 35mm film camera, my melodica, my brand new ability to do a full pushup and my Princess Leia costume.
My favourite activities are going to the beach, roadtripping around to find waterfalls, canyons and other natural beauties, making people laugh, going clubbing, bar hopping, going to festivals, practicing new languages and watching sports but not participating in them (for everyone's safety).

Music, Movies, and Books

-I have a playlist on spotify that is completely dedicated to "Dad Music"
-I love performing choreographed song and dance routines to Britney, Cher, Christina, Whitney, Diana, Anastacia, Gaga, all of the divas
-I love world music; salsa, afrobeats, samba, dancehall, bossa nova, goa trance, Russian polkas. If you know of any world music that is really really "out there" then I'd love to hear it!
-I love going to festivals and parties that play techno, disco, house, ghetto house, trance, psytrance, hardstyle etc

As for movies, my favourite movie of all time is the Sound of Music. Ask me about my Sound of Music tattoo.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have made and worn an outfit and hat using IKEA shopping bags and hot glue! It took me 6 hours of hard work but it looked fabulous

What I Can Share with Hosts

-I can basically recite the movie The Sound of Music word for word for you, although this performance piece isn't very popular among friends, I have no idea why.....
