I'm from Manchester in the UK and moved about 3 years ago to Berlin. I've traveled a fair amount around Europe so in August I decided to take another trip but a bit further afield.

I've been travelling alone for the last 6 months through SE Asia, but have now settled in Australia. I have really enjoyed, more than anything, the people I have met. The goodbyes are so difficult, almost unbearable at times, but I think now this will add a new dimension to my experiences, which I would love to share.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Everyone I have met who has couchsurfed has some great memories (and sometimes weird) to share. I am known by my friends for having funny stories to tell about weird and wonderful situations I have encountered. I love to share these with people, and of course, maybe i'll come across something else to talk about along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

My main passion is music. I guess it's also a big reason why I moved to Berlin.
Although they have a huge electronic music scene there, my interests span from rock, classical, old school hip hop, soul, disco, funk, techno, house, ambient, 80s. You might (after about 3 drinks) catch me rapping along to Eminem but, please, don't get your hopes up too high of my vocal abilities!

I studied film for 2 years so asking me my favourite film is kind of difficult, I like a lot of foreign cinema. I recently watched a film called Belgica...I thought it was awesome, check it out! If you speak Flemish then perfect, if not you can find a version with subtitles.

I read a lot of books, mainly fiction, I really like Valley of the Dolls by Jacqueline Susann
