About Me
Does anybody every know what to write in this section?
I grew up in Germany and am now studying in England at the University of Bath, studying international relations. I try to travel as often as possible. Travelling by yourself is solitary, social, scary, lovely, and the best thing in the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's just a genuinely great and far more intimate set-up for meeting new people and exploring new places on your own terms. I'm very grateful to people who open up their homes and their couches to travellers for the opportunity to immerse myself in new experiences!
Interests
I like to think that my interests are fairly balanced (in terms of being active/social vs. inactive/introverted), but I still identify as far more of a 'boho-artsy music nerd' than social butterfly. I grew up immersed in books and movie culture, and will happily admit to binge-watching TV shows. I also love baking, hiking and kickboxing, the latter two of which I use to make up for the first.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm open to being introduced to any new music but for the most part I listen to blues-rock and indie. Music is a massive part of my life, and some of my favourite artists are Nina Simone, The White Stripes, Jeff Buckley, the Doors, Van Morrison, Otis Redding, Led Zeppelin, the Arctic Monkeys, the Kills... the list goes on.
For favourite movies (again, tough choice), I'd have to say Submarine and The Usual Suspects.
As for books I don't think I can even begin to choose favourites, but the one book I do read again and again is The Catcher in the Rye.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Covered my body in multiple layers of paint for a photoshoot.
