I am a study abroad student studying in Dublin, Ireland for the semester. My home university is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and I'm 20 years old. I'm studying communications in school and will graduate next year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to Couchsurf to meet people from the culture and place I am visiting. I am looking for people who tell me the ins and outs of the city. I would love to stay with people who are willing to tell me where to go. Couchsurfing has always interested me and now that I am in Europe I finally get to do it. It has always seemed like the best way to experience the city I am exploring. I'm interested in getting to know the people as well as the place I am staying and do not think hostels are always the right way to do this.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is study abroad. Even though I'm still in the experience, it has been amazing. I've learned to be independent and make my own choices. It's grown my self-confidence more than I could have thought possible. I feel as if I am ready to take on whatever life throws at me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I can share my adventurous and kind spirit with my hosts. I think as a traveler you have to be willing to change plans quickly or just be okay with not having a plan. I think all travelers have this spirit and could be a bond to share with my host.
