Brene Brown is my hero - i've been watching her talks on Youtube and am inspired by her - I really believe empathy and vulnerability are essential to human connection and living a good life.

I want to be a positive presence in the world and in my work I have an opportunity to make a difference by supporting bereaved young people. Aside from that, I like to bring humour, playfulness and fun to the world around me, and I love to meet people from different places and backgrounds. I think it makes me a better person to learn from others and their experiences :)

I love to get into 'deep conversations' when the opportunity arises, and I also love to be completely irreverent. Deadpool 2 is currently my favourite funny movie.

I wish I could articulate something deeply moving and meaningful here, or even remember some inspiring quotes that would sum up my world view, but I'm drawing a blank...

I love to laugh, sing, dance (badly) and be out and about doing new and interesting things. I tend to pick up new hobbies but struggle to stick with them, I guess I like to try a little bit of anything.

Movies:
All-time favourite is Gladiator but Crash and Gravity are close seconds/thirds

In April I went to New Zealand and managed to watch THIRTEEN movies whilst there and on the plane (mostly on the plane) - I swear, not one of them was bad. Thor:Ragnarok, Atomic Blonde, Three Billboards, Wonderwoman (I think i'm one of few who prefers the DC universe to Marvel), What we do in the shadows, Love Simon, Ingrid Goes West, Mad Max: Fury Road...argh I wish I could remember the rest.
