I like to wander and travel about, happening upon new things and finding what secret beauties there are that most people overlook. I sing silly songs about things as I am doing them, to make them more interesting. I love having conversations with genuine people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on my way home from teaching abroad for one year in Bahrain and thought I would make a short stop in a place I've always been curious about, but never gone to. I am hoping friendly locals will be kind and show me around or give me tips on cool and cheap places to visit. Also, as a newer teacher I still have very limited money to spend on fancy places to stay. I have always been partial to having an authntic experience by staying with locales and observing the real culture of a city than to staying at hotels and such.

Interests

Although I am not very athletically inclined, I love to be outside and walking around. I enjoy a mix of sharing my stories and listening to other stories. I love gettIng lost while dancing to live music performances. As much as I like to tell story and listen to them I also enjoy acting them out; as such, I am an active DnD (Dungeons and Dragons) player. I have played a halfling rogue and a gnome barbarian. I have only been playing for about 4 months but have greatly enjoyed all the adventures!
