About Me
Hi, I´m Hannah, 20 years old and from Germany. I´m currently working as an Au Pair ( live-in Nanny) in the US, which is the reason why I can´t host others right now.
I grew up in a small village near Regensburg, Bavaria where my parents and little brother still live and where I will be living again after I finished my year as an Au Pair in the States. Before I came to the US I finished school with the A-level exams and applied to become an Au Pair while I was studying for my A-levels.
While I was in the US I traveled quite a bit, went on road trips with friends and discovered new parts of New York City every time I was there.
In my free time I looove doing crafts (like knitting, sewing,...) or bake and cook or be active outside and go on adventures but I also like spending the whole day in bed in my pj's and watch Netflix:) and I´m a little pinterest addict, so that´s always a good way to waste time
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of getting to know other places by getting to know the people living there because locals always know the best places and have all the inside tips about their city

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all different kinds of music, but i can´t stand heavy metal.
The movie I have seen the most is probably `the intouchables`, a super cute french comedy drama, so yes, I like french movies, I watched all Harry Potter movies, the Hobbit, and so on. I am not really familiar with all the Disney princess movies, but I basically like every kind of movie except horror movies.
I am reading a book from time to time, mostly thrillers, but sometimes romantic books to keep the balance :P
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It was a great experience (and still is) to leave everything familiar behind and start all over again in a new place with a new family and new friends. Even though I miss my family and friends at home sometimes, I know I can always call them and the best part about this whole Au Pair thing and living in another country is that I have two places I can call my home now and two families and friends from all over the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always happy to share my culture with others and learn about theirs
What I Can Share with Hosts
I taught some of my friends how to knit and I´m also pretty good in cooking and baking, so I could share that with you:)
