ABOUT ME

Hello! Tag! Ciao! I'm Hannah, I'm eighteen years old and a student at Iowa State University. I'm currently studying abroad in Urbino, Italy. I study journalism, international studies and German. I love photography and adventure. After graduation, I plan to join the Peace Corps, as I am passionate about projects that promote schooling for girls in impoverished countries.

I love kids and work full time at a camp during the summer, I'm also a chocolate snob because I got the privilege to work at a chocolate store when I was in high school- so now my life is just a quest for perfect chocolate.

Since I study journalism, I hope to interview and compile the stories of hosts that I stay with or travelers I host- so be prepared for me to ask a lot of questions!

I collect postcards from everywhere I go (I have boxes of them) so if you could bring me a unique postcard from your area, I'd be forever grateful! I like to write on them what I did the day I bought them on the back, or if I'm hosting you, where you're from and what we did together.

I realize I'm new to couchsurfing but if you give me a chance, you won't be sorry, I won't murder you I swear.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe everyone is ultimately good at heart, and as a lover of photojournalism, I try to see the beauty in everything, especially in average, daily life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm currently living in Urbino, Italy, and would love to explore more of Europe. I am on Couchsurfing because I want to meet new people and immerse myself in new cultures (plus I'm traveling on a college budget). I want to share the stories of my hosts and travelers I host through photos and interviews.

Due to my current housing situation, I'm mostly looking to surf, however if you're willing to sleep on a floor I'd be happy to host you.

I am a native English speaker, and have been studying German for a while, as it is one of my majors. I am relatively new to Italian, and would love help from a native speaker! I would also enjoy helping you learn English.

Can teach basics of photography, i.e. posing, composition, how to use your camera in manual mode
