I'm a teacher based in New York City. I love the energy of the city but need travel to keep living there sustainably. I enjoy epically long walks, good conversation, laughing so hard I cry, exploring, drinking coffee, reading, playing the violin, running, swimming, and wandering around looking for quirky coffee shops and pubs.

Brahms, Beethoven, Bach,Vaughn Williams, Puccini, anything stunningly beautiful that makes me cry, Corelli, Strauss, Ingrid Michaelson, Shawn Colvin, James Taylor, Chris Thile, Mike Marshall and Darol Anger, John Coltrane, Christina Perri, Sara Bareilles, Imagine Dragons, Regina Specktor, Tracy Chapman, Matt Nathanson, anything with an interesting and singable melody. There is nothing like making/experiencing live music.

TV/Movies:
I love shows that make me laugh aloud. I enjoy dramatic shows when I am invested in the storyline and movies that are sweet, make me laugh, are beautiful, make me think, use good music…
