I recently relocated to Chicago to work in the entertainment industry and try to explore in my free time. I currently work in coffee and social media/event production. I travel a lot for music and volunteer work! I try to get the most authentic experience wherever I go.

I'm a super laid-back traveler and love to figure things out as I go. As long as I have a floor to sleep on and good company, I'm doing alright. I think getting a local experience and interacting with other travelers is what you truly remember.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A fellow traveler who we housed for a night introduced me to this. It builds a sense of community. I value a local, cultural experience. I've met some of the most interesting people through Couchsurfing and travel communities.

Interests

I can talk about almost anything.
I enjoy art, any form of it, especially social activist art and installations.
Music is the key to most of my travel. I've been traveling to work or attend shows and festivals for years.
Craft beers and coffee have made a small part in my life. I love to talk about different shops/breweries and I'd love to bring some local beers to share!
I also try to find the best vegan/vegetarian places in every city, so if you have any recommendations, get at me with them!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll listen to anything, honestly.
One of my favorite communities is local, DIY scenes. I've been involved with various DIY scenes for the longest time and love to find local shows wherever I travel.
I tend to lean more towards rock/hardcore, instrumental/spoken word, indie/acoustic, and rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surfed some of the top waves in Europe in Mundaka, Spain.

One New Years in Chicago, I had no plans and used travel communities to find something to do. Thirty minutes later, I found myself in a hot tub on a rooftop overlooking the skyline. I still can't really explain that night, haha.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always down to make art for people and show them anything they want about design! I also love cooking vegetarian meals for anyone that is willing to try!
If possible, I’d love to bring gifts from home to share!
