Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm Couchsurfing because I want to learn and experience the area from someone who knows it well, appreciates it, and wants to share it with others. I want a realistic perspective, not a tourist's show and tell for social media. I want to understand and contribute to a community, even though I may just be passing thru.

I started whitewater kayaking. It's a scary sport, but fun when it's over.

If I have coffee on me, then I will absolutely be sharing coffee with you. Very good coffee. As well as the knowledge I've acquired through my coffee practice.

I love cooking for/with people. I make a good veggie scramble, smoothies, and vegan cookies. I'll show you mine if you show me yours!

I hope to learn whatever I can from whoever I can. Whether it's a different way of doing an everyday thing, or a life-changing revelation. I'm open to anything.
