About Me

I am currently a graduate student and have been consumed with school so traveling around seems like a better change of pace. Interests and what makes me, me in a nutshell:
I believe in God and am a Seventh Day Adventist Christian. I am open minded and am interested in learning about various cultures and beliefs different from my own.
I like exercising: running, hiking, yoga, swimming, and martial arts.
I enjoy attending and participating in Poetry Slams. If you have never been to one, it is definitely an interesting experience.
I love going to Music Venues to listen to local bands.
I think Art Museums are wonderful places to see the artistic greats' pieces face to face.
Walking around taking in scenery wherever I'm at is a great joy in itself.
Trying new foods from different places is entertaining.
In my spare time when I'm not studying, I draw, paint, and write poetry. I also have an art page that I weekly update with new pieces, quotes or project ideas.
I like to dance salsa and kumbia. Unfortunately, I'm not that good, but it's all about having fun. :)
I am a bit of a shy person at first but am very easy going once I get to know someone. Overall, I am very laid back. Although, I am not much of a morning person but I can be when necessary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is very new to me. I want to explore new places and meet people while doing so. I think it would be a great way to step outside the box.
