Me and my friend Joey are off to East Asia for 2 and a half months this summer (2015) and would love somewhere to stay in S Korea, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos or Thailand!

I'd love to get to know a place through the people that live there, and make some good friends along the way. I have known friends who have travelled this way and have had an enriched experience from and one that is different to staying in hostels or elsewhere.

兴趣

I am interested in history, particularly ancient history of all civilisations, human rights, charity work and volunteering. In my spare time I enjoy reading, painting and drawing, learning about and cooking food from around the world, running and watching documentaries and science fiction!

I love all types of music, mainly sci fi and historical films, and aaaaaaaall the books. Terry Pratchett, Mo Yan and C.J. Sansom are some of my favourite authors.

Living in Nicaragua for a year was an amazing experience, and I have been lucky enough to volunteer in countries like Panama and Ghana. I have also had the opportunity to work with Amnesty International and Global Brigades, and promote causes that are very close to my heart, such as women's rights and development of rural communities with little access to healthcare.
