Overview
About Me
I'm a student from Vermont, currently attending Vassar College.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, the most fun part of travel is meeting new people! I'd much rather have a great conversation with someone new in a new place than end my day by returning to a hotel room with no personality. In my musical life, I've had great experiences staying with hosts overnight, and always want to connect to new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite books are Death Comes for the Archbishop by Willa Cather, The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov, and Sula by Toni Morrison; and my (current) favorite poet is either Anne Carson or John Donne.
I love music of all kinds, but I'm an especially big fan of Joanna Newsom, Fiona Apple, and Alice Coltrane.
My favorite movie at the moment is probably The Biggest Little Farm!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a gap year and farmed in Scotland.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a folk musician and am always looking to learn new tunes and songs and share what I know! I also can tell you lots and lots about Old English (probably more than you wanted to know, really).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Any sort of music, a good home-cooked meal, long conversations about the history of the English language, book recs.
Countries I’ve Visited
