Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just recently discovered couchsurfing and it is just the greatest invention ever. It exactly supports my idea of traveling. I've realized during my last trips that staying in a hotel and seeing the most important sights is not how I want to travel. Of course sightseeing is important, but I would rather learn about the culture and people and couchsurfing is just a great way to do so.
