About Me

I'm a very outgoing and friendly individual who loves meeting new people and discovering new places.
Spending quality time at home with my family and dogs is something that is so important to me, but having the chance to explore interesting parts of the world and meet people from different cultures and backgrounds is incredible! My gorgeous boyfriend James feels the same way and we are looking forward to going travelling together.

Our planet is such a beautiful place and so I try to immerse myself in nature as often as I can, venturing: over mountains; through woodland and if I feel no one's looking, even up trees!

I am passionate about healthy living so as well as having lots of country walks, I have a largely plant based diet with plenty of fresh fruit and veg. On their own, vegetables aren't the most tasty things, but as the family cook, I have developed my culinary repertoire so that I can create a broad range of healthy dishes to feed everyone. It's also amazing how cost effective this is!

Aside from cooking, one of the main things that gives me joy in my life is music. I listen to and practise various genres, mainly Celtic Trad. and Baroque/Renaissance but am also generally interested in World Music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got a place at medical school and a few years later, an offer to study Psychology at Cambridge University.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share my knowledge of British culture to anyone interested - I have a reasonable grounding in history, literature and of traditional music and dance over the last few centuries.

Similarly, I am very keen to learn of the culture and heritage of the places I will be visiting in the future.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Delicious cooking, music, stories, fun and laughter.
