Overview
About Me
Hey there, I'm Hannah, 20 years old and I'm from Austria. I‘m studying in Vienna to become a teacher for French and Biology.
For me, traveling is not just an escape from the ordinary but one thing that makes me feel free and entirely happy. Also the people who travel with you or those you meet along the way are an important part of it. Couchsurfing is an amazing idea, it gives you the chance to get to know awesome human beings and make friends all over the world.
"Travel as much as you can, as far as you can, as often as you can. Life is not meant to be lived in one place."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve done Couchsurfing in Brussels, Dublin and Galway, it was always a great experience. I don't just consider it as a way of saving money, I want to meet locals, have nice talks and pass a good time.
Interests
In my freetime I do lots of sports, especially running and volleyball. I also love running when I‘m traveling, because you can see so much more of a place when discovering it by feet.
A healthy lifestyle is important to me, also concerning nutrition since I'm vegetarian. I enjoy going out and meeting people, I even prefer it abroad when I get the chance to talk in other languages.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to very different types of music, going from Punk Rock to Pop and Indie. Some of my favorite bands: Imagine Dragons, The Kooks, Good Charlotte, Green Day, ...
Absolute favorite songs: Don‘t stop me now - Queen & Mr. Brightside - The Killers
My absolute favourite books are the Hunger Games, that I've read in German, English and French. In general I read almost every kind of book, apart from romances. The same goes for movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing a mountain at 6 in the morning - I'm aware this is nothing special but for me it was, since I find it hard to get up early :D plus, it totally paid of, the sunrise was breathtaking!
I stayed 8 months as an Au Pair in Bordeaux/France, spending my time looking after a great kid, making friends from all sort of countries, travelling and drinking wine. I definitely had the time of my life!
Mud bath with elephants in a Sanctuary camp in Phuket/Thailand
