My name is Hannah! The last three and a half years I have been on the road.. I've done a mixture of hostel work, internships, long distance hikes, straight up travelling, and of course some good old pub work! My wandering days are a bit on hold these days as I’ve gone back to school to take Nursing.. that being said, exams are over, and my bags are packed, and New Zealand is looking pretty lovely!

I’ll be travelling with my boyfriend for the most part, but have a week in Auckland before he arrives and would love to hang out and see the city with some local insight!

I'm a very open person - easy going! I am perfectly content sitting in a cafe reading a book/going to museums etc but also love going to live music, for drinks, for a hike, to a yoga class.. All of it!

I love meeting new people!! I really enjoy seeing the hidden spots of places.. Seeing more than just the touristy spots! I also love the fast friendships that can be made through couch surfing.. You only have a few days with a person, and I have found that people are very open to being their true selves in such a situation!

I generally like all music... definitely have a soft spot for fiddle music (grew up step dancing). Definitely depends on my mood and activity.

Books... Golden compass series, Paulo Coelho, recently reread all the Harry Potters.. currently reading a hiking book about the Appalachian Trail.

This one time I did a hike along a river in China. It was just me and my sister...about 4 hours in the rain.. along rice fields and mountains (so absolutely beautiful!). At the end of the trail there was a huge waterfall.. we climbed behind it and explored a beautiful cave and howled like wolves (which was maybe weird, but in the moment made sense). There was nooooo one else around. It was like a dream.
