ABOUT ME

I am a senior in college studying economics and environmental science. I LOVE hiking and backpacking. I took a year off from school and spent 8 months backpacking in India and I hiked the entire length of the Appalachian Trail (2800 miles) on the east coast of the US. I am somewhat shy at first, but come out of my shell. I love to read and study world issues, especially environmental problems and genocide.

Interests

Like I said, the natural world is my great love. I love mountains and could not live away from them. They give me my sanity. Climbing, hiking, rafting are activities I enjoy. I also enjoy cooking and baking, especially breads!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in India, I saw a small child drink from a dirty puddle underneath a car. It really opened my eyes to poverty I never experienced before. After that, I don't take my blessings for granted. That moment really changed me.
