My partner Nick and I are travelling the states by car over 9 weeks in June, July and August 2024.
This will be our biggest travelling stint since our big 2014 euro trip! Since that time we've moved to New Zealand then back again and settled down in my birth place, Adelaide, a seriously beautiful part of the world, with an awesome arts scene and gorgeous beaches.

We live with our greyhound Zenni, our 3 chickens, and way too many fruit trees for 2 people.

Nick is an acoustic engineer, a handy DIY kind of guy, avid gardener and cyclist.
I am a Speech Pathologist. I discovered dance at 25 and love trying new styles including ballet, aerial hoop, commercial heels and most recently, vogue.

We both love live music, cooking vegetarian food, dogs, thrift shopping (op-shopping as we call it) and being in nature, especially chasing waterfalls.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My partner (Nick Henrys on couchsurfing) have hosted in our tiny 1 bedroom house in Auckland and have used couchsurfing together in Spain and Morroco.

Nick and I will be doing some minor conversions to a car to make it into a place where we can sleep whilst on our travels. If you've got powertools (or even if you don't!), we'd be so grateful to do these conversions whilst staying with you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Nick and I have recently started learning spin staff at the local fire arts school. Whilst we're new to it, we love it and can teach you a few tricky tricks if you've got a spare broom stick haha.

Nick is also a fantastic DJ and will be bringing his decks with him for fun portable party times.
