About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling the world to learn about myself and others! No better way to do so than to immerse myself outside of my comfort zones, but simultaneously exactly where I want to be.
ABOUT ME
I just got back to the states after living in New Zealand on a Working Holiday to see the country. I am a recent graduate and I feel like I'm ever-progressing with my understanding of myself and the world. I'm very open minded! But I'd like to make myself more concrete in my beliefs and opinions, and have a vast appreciation for what the people of the world and their cultures have to offer. I'd like to dive into the source of my happiness and find passions to last a lifetime.
I thoroughly enjoy the company of animals and other forms of life, and would say that overall I'm a pretty easy going gal.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in karma and try to be the best I can be to all forms of life.
My overall life philosophy is to do my best to enjoy things as they come instead of looking forward to something that may never come.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I am traveling and cannot host, but when I settle back down for graduate school or get a real job I'd love to become a host and show other travelers a great time in whichever place I'm in.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfing through New Zealand, meeting great folks with unbelievable generosity, it still amazes me

Music, Movies, and Books
I like comedy mostly, but I enjoy movies from essentially all genres. Now that reading is no longer an academic chore I am re-finding interest in all sorts of things, fantasy, fiction, non-fiction science etc. I enjoy a lot of music, by choice I listen to indie folk, classical, and I don't like country music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking to the summit of a mountain without a trail, and looking down upon an entire range of peaks.
Raising tiger cubs for a summer, from birth until they were too big to play with!
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Mexico, New Zealand
